Our Story

One baker, one oven, a whole lot of poundcake.

Sweet Petitez is a one-person home bakery in Charlotte, NC. It started with a poundcake recipe tweaked until it was right, and neighbors who kept knocking for another one.

These days the oven runs for birthdays, showers, Sunday gatherings and plain old Tuesdays. Every order is mixed, baked and finished by hand — which means no two look exactly alike, and that's part of the charm.
